Неужели никто, кроме меня и неизвестного любителя Пастернака и Сельдерея, стихов о зонтичных не писал?!

уйй там опечаток я не посмотрела

Piseach linn gach piseach,
Piseach dha mo bhroinn,
Piseach linn gach piseach,
Piseach dha mo chloinn.'

& i would say, tho Carmichael knows better, but using the first meaning in (dictionary bible) Dwelly,
increase to the family/progeny, every increase,
increase to my womb,
increase to the family, every increase,
increase to my children.

actual Dwelly def minus examples:

piseach -ich, sm Increase. 2 Good fortune, prosperity, success. 3 Fate. 4 Blessing. 5 Issue, progeny, 6** Avail. 7(MS) Improvement. 8(MS) Augmentation.

but a piseag (пИщак) - котенок.

lit. increase progeny-GEN
Carmichael was obviously a very fluent speaker but i can't find a definition of linn that would fit his version

now that i think of torcan (cleft),

Dwelly has:

torcan sm dim of torc [boar & cleft - 99]. Little cleft. 2 Species of bifurcated carrot (cardionis benedictus).

and that's what I think they're referring to, but thus Carm.:

When the soil is soft and friable, the carrots can be pulled out of the ground without digging. When, however, the soil is hard, a space is dug to give the hand access to the root. This space is made in the form of an equal-sided triangle, technically called 'torcan,' diminutive of 'tore,' a cleft.

- so maybe it's "fruitful, fruitful, fruitful carrot"

it's not the first time i see sc. g. folklore being crazy polysemous & context-dependent, to the point that meaningful verse turns into nonsense verse which also had a role (as "mouth music," something to dance to when musical instruments were prohibited by the English or the Calvinists)
