Under the title "Cyprus Treasures" the following verse dedicated to Zeno by P.N., appeared in the Cyprus Post of April 7th, 1940:-
When Zeno went from Citium
The way of life to seek
And in the painted collonade
Taught wisdom to the Greek,
His thought were found in Attic school,
His words in Roman camp,
But now his only relic is
A one piastre stamp."
