Кружится голова. Ночью из-за этого едва не свалилась с кровати. Сегодня в ленте стихотворение Овсея Дриза:
Час назад
Произошло
Важное событие:
Энык-Бенык Колобок
Совершил открытие.
Он открыл, что кружится
Всё в огромном мире:
Поросёнок в лужице,
Коридор в квартире,
Старенькая бабушка,
Маленькая внучка,
Сахарная косточка
И собака Жучка,
Печка
В воздухе летит,
Кружатся дрова...
Но при этом кружится
Немножко
Голова.
2. Позавчера перед тем, как лечь, вижу новость на Йеху: Mysterious Hum Driving People Around the World Crazy. В постели открываю детскую книжку: "What the kraken did was to hum. It was a deep, slow sound and it was like no other sound in the world, for what the kraken hummed was the Song of the Sea. It was a healing song. If you like, it was the Breath of the Universe. Whales can hum too and Buddhist monks who spend their lives on high mountains trying to understand God . . . and small children when they are happy—but the sound they make is nothing compared to the sound made by the kraken".
3. За пару дней до того смотрели In a Glass Darkly, на следующий вечер открываю The Book of Dreams and Ghosts: "This story was told to the writer by his old head-master, the Rev. Dr. Hodson, brother of Hodson, of Hodson’s Horse, a person whom I never heard make any other allusion to such topics. Dr. Hodson was staying with friends in Switzerland during the holidays. One morning, as he lay awake, he seemed to see into a room as if the wall of his bedroom had been cut out. In the room were a lady well known to him and a man whom he did not know. The man’s back was turned to the looker-on. The scene vanished, and grew again. Now the man faced Dr. Hodson; the face was unfamiliar, and had a deep white scar seaming the moustache".
