I belong to a group of "internet" cousins researching our roots in families belonging to the early Templer Societ in Haifa. Sadly only one picture we were looking for was shown--and that is also posted on Find A Grave, taken by another photographer. do you give permission to use any of your pictures if credit is given--this would be in a public tree on Ancestry. com. The picture is of the tombstone of my 2nd great uncle (my 2nd great grandfather's brother) Jakob Friedrich Schumacher, near the beginning of your Templer gallery.
Thanks for taking this photo of my grandfather's grave. He was murdered for the railway payroll in Palestine in 1923 while working as a civil engineer. He was much loved and left a wife, Violet and boys - James (my father) and Arthur (born 6 months after his death). Vi emigrated to new Zealand in 1924 where the Arthur and Vi's descendents have lived and prospered ever since. It's sad to see the grave in disrepair but hopefully someone will make the journey from New Zealand some time in the new few years to make some repairs.
